Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or otherwise using Otto (“the service”) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. The service
Otto helps you find and apply to jobs. It pulls publicly available job postings, lets you store a resume, and uses third-party AI providers to generate tailored resumes and outreach messages on your behalf. The service is provided “as is.”
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. You must give us accurate information at signup.
4. Data storage
We store the resume, preferences, and account information you give us in our database (Supabase) so the product can do its job. We don't sell your data. Generated outputs (tailored resumes, recruiter searches) are stored against your account so you can come back to them.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Otto to spam, harass, scrape protected systems, or misrepresent your identity to employers. Don't upload content that isn't yours to upload.
6. No guarantees
Otto doesn't guarantee job outcomes, accuracy of postings, availability of the service, or correctness of AI-generated content. Review everything Otto writes for you before sending it. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages from your use of the service.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the settings page or by emailing us. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or threaten its stability. On termination, your data is deleted within a reasonable window.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
