Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info: name, email, password hash.
• Job preferences: target titles, salary floor, location, work type.
• Resume content: the text and/or file you upload.
• Generated outputs: tailored resumes and recruiter searches you ask Otto to produce.
• Usage metadata: API costs, which jobs you applied to, basic logs.

How we use it

• To run the service: match jobs to you, generate resumes, find recruiters.
• To improve reliability: error reporting and aggregate usage analytics.
• To contact you about your account (auth, password resets, important updates).

We don't sell your data. We don't use your resume to train any general-purpose AI model. AI requests are sent to Anthropic for processing under their API terms.

Where it lives

Account data and resume content are stored in our Supabase (Postgres) database. Resume files are stored in Supabase Storage. Backups follow Supabase's standard retention.

Subprocessors

• Supabase — auth, database, storage.
• Anthropic — AI generation (resume tailoring, recruiter search).
• Resend — transactional email.
• Sentry — error monitoring.

Cookies

We use a single auth cookie set by Supabase to keep you logged in. We don't run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

How to delete your data

Delete your account from the settings page, or email aaron@vanitymediamarketing.com asking us to remove it. We'll wipe your profile, resumes, jobs, tailored outputs, and uploaded files within 30 days. Logs and backups roll off on Supabase's normal schedule.
